My evening skin care routine | Ma routine du soir pour le visage

Sweet dreams are made of these ... Beauty products :D

I wanted to share with you my current skin care routine before I go to bed. Some products can easily be found in drugstores (our pharmacies or parapharmacies) and others I had to buy them online because they aren't sold here in France.

To take off my makeup, when I'm lazy I use usual make-up wipes (lingettes démaquillantes) but I've heard that it's not ecological...
So I usually take a cotton pad and put my Bioderma Sébium H2O Purifying Cleansing "micellaire" solution or the Créaline for my face. I love the fresh feeling it creates on my skin and it wipes all of my make up without irritating my skin. Then for my eyes I love the Mixa Expert Peau Sensible "biphasé". It doesn't irritate my eyes and takes all of my make-up off.
My brother brought back from Japan the famous DHC Deep Cleansing Oil in the small format. This product is a 2 in 1. A make up remover and a cleansing oil (obviously). It's almost 100% natural and contains olive oil, jojoba oil... I use it to take off my make-up, but it won't take all of your eye make-up off. The thing I like the most it that it's natural and doesn't leave your face oily at all.

Now for the cleansing, exfoliating and toning part :
I use the Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 as a weekly scrub and mask. It has Kaolin Clay, Glycolic Acid and Salicylic Acid; perfect to remove the skin's impurities and calm down some acne. It regulates sebum, clarifies the complexion, etc, etc.

It's through the beauty channels of Elsa Makeup and AlexFashionBeauty that I've heard of Michael Todd True Organics. Their products are as natural and organic (bio) as possible and really target the different types of skin.
For these 2 products + shipping I paid around 40$ (30 euros) with a 10% discount, it is a little pricey but the quality is definitly there ! Plus they included a small version of the Pumpkin Nutrient-Rich facial mask, with glycolic acid, so it's so worth the price !

To cleanse my face, I use the Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser
As the brand says on their website : This detoxifying facial cleanser is particularly effective in caring for blemished and oily skin types as well as combination and normal skin. The creamy vegan cleanser is infused with Activated Charcoal to deeply clean pores of toxins and bacteria for smoother clearer skin. Activated Charcoal is an amazingly absorbent substance, widely known for its ability to effectively cleanse the skin, unclog pores, and remove deeper impurities and dead skin cells.Sulfate FREE "no tears" formula does not irritate eyes.
What can I say, I love this cleanser. It does smell a little weird (like plants) but you get used to it quickly. Your skin feels so clean and fresh after !

As a toner, I use the Blue Green Algae Antibacterial Toner
As the brand says on their website : This organic toner's fragrance of fresh lavendar with a hint of birchwood will have you thinking you just stepped into a luxury spa. Rich in vital nutrients, trace elements and amino acids, blue green algae and organic kelp in a base of soothing aloe vera juice penetrate deeply into the skin to speed the elimination of toxins, promote cellular renewal, naturally nourish and remineralize the skin.  Also contains black willow tree extract recognized for thousands of years for its healing power and fresh, warm, spicy tea tree oil a powerful immune stimulant to help fight infections and promote clear skin. A huge favorite, customers love this toner for its antibacterial formula to help improve problem skin. Enjoy!
They said everything perfectly. It does an amazing job ! It does sting a little but that's how I know that my face is clear of all impurities and left over make-up.

Last but not least : hydration ! If I have a blemish I love using the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot treatment,
To moisturize, I've been loving for about a year now the Lait-Crème Concentré from Embryolisse. I talked about these two beautiful products right here :)
And I read on a blog a few days ago, (I have to remember the name of it !!) that Cicalfate from Avène is perfect to "repare" a spot : it has an antibacterial and renewing effect on the skin.

Have you tried any of these products, what do you think ? What's your skin care routine ?

My favorite moisturizers and facial creams | Mes crèmes pour le visage préférées

Let's admit it, I have combination to oily skin, which can be quite sensitive too! So it's not always easy to find the right facial cream to keep my skin hydrated but to prevent it from looking like a greasy frying pan for fries!

First of all, I love facial sprays, especially in the summer! It's about 35° C (around 90° F) these days in Grenoble so this little guy is always good to have in hand! Put this spray in the fridge and you'll appreciate it even more !!  I have the Evian facial spray, but other brands have some too.
Make sure you take one thats with natural mineral water so that your skin appreciates all its vertues :) It also comes in a smaller format so you can carry it in your bag or purse!
Price : more or less 5 €
Overall rating : 5/5

Now from La Roche-Posay, I've been using for years the Effaclar Duo (corrective and unclogging anti-imperfection care). I used it in the morning as a moisturizer + primer in the summer time, or just on my T zone.
At night it also allows to sooth my skin. I didn't really see a difference with my black spots but I do love the texture (it's like a gel cream, really light).
Price : between 10 and 12 €, depending on the drugstore
Overall rating : 4/5 but I keep buying it ;)
I'll try the Effaclar Mat next, tell me if you like it !

The 3rd product is just a sample I got from the drugstore but I love it so I decided to include it here! It's the Vichy Normaderm Hyaluspot (fast acting anti-imperfection targeted care, minimises marks). It contains hyaluronic acid that's why it works wonders for acne and redness
Since it's quite a strong product, I just use it on my spots. I feel like it's anti-inflammatory so that's a really good thing. But it can tingle and dry out your skin so be careful with that. Otherwise it does a great job. Regarding the "minimizing marks" thing, I think it does work a little...
Price : I don't remember but around 9 €
Overall rating : 5/5 for targeted anti-imperfection care

I purchased the Clean&Clear dual action moisturizer on Amazon because it isn't commercialized here in France. I heard a lot of good American reviews on this product so I decided to buy it. I think I paid around 12 € for it, but 120 ml is a lot :)
I love the fresh feeling it gives me in the morning, espcially in the Summer time. It's a minty feeling. Kind of like toothpaste on your face but not sticky at all. I haven't been using it for a long time but it hasn't broken me out. Time will tell us how I review it!
Price : cheap in the US! 12-13 € on Amazon
Overall rating : 4/5 for now

Last but not least is the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. For all skin types, this milk-cream is perfect at night time. It leaves my skin smooth as a baby's butt, it's calming and nourrishes perfectly. The texture isn't super light nor heavy. In the Winter, I sometimes used this product on my skin and it didn't make it too oily, so that's good! A little goes a long way with this Embryolisse cream :)
I also works really well as a body moisturizer
Thanks to the Youtube beauty gurus Elsamakeup and MrsCaroline1305 who allowed me to discover this product :)
Price : between 10 and 13€
Overall rating : 5/5

Tell me if you know these products and what you use as moisturizers :)
