Bright skin for Winter with Yves Rocher ! Une peau éclatante pour l'hiver avec Yves Rocher

Today is a cold but sunny day. Still no snow here, although last year it first snowed on October 28th!
Here are some products I've purchased that felt good on my skin. (Ok the shower gel isn't really part of the "bright skin" routine but I just loved the natural flower smell !)

So here are the 2 main face products I want to talk to you about:

The snowflake & the little Mister Snowman are not quite appropriate yet but whatever I like these little guys :D

First of all, let's talk about the SeboSpecific anti-blemish facial cream. I use this gel-cream at night as it can be a little light-sensitive.
I use it every other day since it's a really light-weight cream. So I alternate with the Lait-Crème Concentré I mentioned here :) especially when it's going to be colder...

It feels refreshing on the skin and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight.
The color has no effect on the skin, you won't become a green monster or anything ;)
The scent is quite strong but pleasant. It goes away a few minutes after applying the cream.

Why I really like it :

  • it's non comedogenic
  • so it didn't break me out !
  • it feels fresh while hydrating my skin, and doesn't feel sticky !
  • it really controls the skin's sebum
  • my skin feels brighter

But  :

  • I don't know if it has an effect on blemishes, since I use specific creams for those little monsters...
  • I didn't really see a difference with my pores, but I don't believe in the miracle cream !
  • The fact that is comes in a pot... not the most hygienic.

Overall rating :

Texture : 5/5
Skin benefits : 4/5
Scent : 3.5/5
Price : 4/5 - I got it at 9€ on sale, I think it's a good value

Now on to the face mask:
I've only used this mask twice but it felt nice on my skin!
It's also a gel texture with a sweet fresh scent.
As it says it has natural cranberry pulp extract, botanical glycerin & organic chamomile water.
Plus it's paraben free.
I was afraid it might burn my skin, and feeling too tingly, but it didn't. It just felt refreshing and hydrating.
For the radiant part, I'll have to check back later, once I finish the whole product. I think you have to you use it at least once a week to see a difference in the skin's brightness.

Overall rating :

Texture : 5/5
Skin benefits : 3/5 - To be continued...!
Scent : 4/5
Price : 2/5 - I got it half price: 3,50€ I think.
It's not a lot but the product's only 50 ml - 1.6 fluid oz.

So this product is a little off-subject but I just wanted to mention it :D
It's the Laotian Lotus Flower Shower Gel.
And it's pink. You may know I have a sort of obsession with pink... ;)
And the picture is beautiful ! Just like the scent :) and it lathers up really well.
As any other shower gel, it's not really hydrating, and since I have dry skin, I always hydrate my skin. I often use this divine organic lotion here.
After your shower, your whole bathroom will smell like a big lotus flower, it's really relaxing !
